My appointment was for 10:30AM. I arrived at 10:20AM and checked in at the front desk. A little past 11AM someone finally came over and told me your vehicle is checked in and the team has started on the work. It should take about 1 hour. This was a brand-new vehicle and the first safety check with oil change. So, nothing more than a routine check. At 12:30 I went up to the front desk and asked if the vehicle was ready which I had to wait another 15 mins for someone to tell me almost. Overall, the service on the car was excellent but the amount of time waiting without any communication and scheduling was very disappointing.

Overall my experience was good. I had a couple warranty issues (leaking radiator hose, directional issue, roof stiffeners installed). Parts needed to be ordered and a return trip was rescheduled. I picked up my truck in the evening and didn't get a good look at the state of the interior until this morning. There are multiple scratches on multiple surfaces of the interior as well as a deep gouge in the piano black shifter housing panel. While the service is great, I'm not happy with the condition my vehicle was in upon return.

My vehicle was stuck at Best's service department from November 2024 to February 2025. During that time I was left in the dark for days/weeks at a time. I was only texted about my vehicle, recieved little to no phone calls. Every time I was set to come pick up my car (which was there for warranty/recall covered repairs), new items would be wrong with it preventing me from doing so and costing me more and more money. Steve Tucker tried to lie to me when the transmission that was replaced in my car was faulty. He was perfectly fine sending a family with young children home with a transmission that didnt work just to get us out of his hair. I was charged for a rental because Best kept my car sitting on their lot for no reason and with no explanation. No one could tell me why my vehicle was there for so long. My car seems to have a couple thousand extra miles on it now and is completely knocked out of alignment. My experience was a nightmare and after over a decades worth of vehicle purchases (4, was about to be 5 but won't be now) and service visits we will not be returning. We are also reaching out to Chevy and the Better Business Bureau.

As I told Patrick, my Service Advisor, I am a paying customer (60 years); and it is extremely disappointing when I have to check the technician's work to find a job was not fully completed. My generation had great pride in their work. It seems to be becoming a thing of the past. I was also saddened to learn two more employees are no longer at Best. I find the dealership has changed over the past few years. I have always written glowing reviews. Tie rods needed to be ordered so I will be returning tomorrow to have that work done. There was lack of urgence and attention to customer, from when I walked in from the desk to the service rep and to the rental car staff. Communication was less than stellar. There was no verbal communication/ explanation of what was done and why it happened. I felt as there was more communication for an up sell rather than focus on the the issue as to why the car broke down. IE oil changes, brakes etc.

Brought my daughter’s car in for brakes squeaking. Shouldn’t be brakes because it was just bought within the year and only driven about 4000 miles. Was charged $50 to say it’s not brakes but they recommend a couple expensive services based on age and mileage. I feel these should have been done before selling the used car. So nothing was resolved and it cost us $50. I should not have to pay $600 in maintenance after only driving 4000 miles.

Once again I received great service that exceeded my expectations. I called with my issue and was able to drop off my truck for service the very next morning, given an uber home and kept up to date on the status throughout the day. Once it was determined it needed to stay the weekend I was given a loaner vehicle until the problem was fixed. Nicole Hayes provided excellent feedback during this process and helped with forms needed for a subsequent insurance claim. This is why I always use Best Chevrolet for all my service needs. I came in for an oil change, tire rotation & and inspection sticker on Thursday the 10th. Whoever put the inspection sticker on my windshield did a messy job. He didn’t put it on the same spot as the original sticker & he left adhesive on the windshield. Frankly, it looked like my 5 year old granddaughter put it on. I'm honestly a little confused why I got this survey. I dropped my 2020 camaro off at Best Chevy on 1/7/25 for a scheduled appointment, and as of today 3/24/25, service has still not been completed. I'm waiting on them to replace the convertible top. I provided them with the replacement on 1/7/25 and was told it would "be a couple weeks." Each time I check in, when I get a response, I'm told "oh yeah the tech is gonna start in the next couple days," or something like that. But it's been almost 3 months I haven't had a vehicle because I've been waiting for the "Best" Chevy dealership (scary thought). I've followed up with customer care as well (Customer Care Case 9-14760632374), but they barely get back to me and don't seem to be much help. There was one week where no one at all would get back to me. I looped in the sales manager at Best Chevy and a few random GM/Chevy executives because literally no one would get back to me. And I actually still haven't gotten any sort of reply to that email chain. I had to call the dealership again and again to get an update. Still waiting on the car. They still have my car. So, yeah, thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback.

I generally have good service at the dealership from a customer service perspective. I have a long standing performance issue with my Silverado since the day I purchased it that has never been fully resolved. I am sure there are constraints placed on the dealership by corporate when it comes to the issue but as a consumer it has caused much frustration. The vehicle came with faulty injectors and some have been replaced but some remain. I can generally tell when the performance is suffering and bring it in for service but what I feel when driving it daily doesn't get recognized by the techs. The experience has left a bad impression when it comes to what vehicle I will choose for my next truck.

Usually when I drop off my vehicle I explain to them this situation and then I’ll get a phone call, usually within half hour or so to let me know what the situation is on their end as far as fixing it, how long, how much etc. This time it was probably 2 1/2 hours before I heard from anyone and I had to go ask what was going on with my vehicle. And I was told that it was either a setting problem or it needs to be diagnosed to find out the problem. And she eventually told me that they still hadn’t figured out what it was. And then a gentleman from the showroom area was surprised I was still waiting there so he went to check on the situation. And when she came over the next time to talk to me she said it’s not a setting issue and they need to keep it to do diagnostic testing on it. I could not wait around because I had already waited for like 3 1/2 hours. I went home and looked at the settings and it works fine now. So now I have trust problem with the mechanics because they did not know it was an easy setting fix. Or did they just want to try to take advantage of a female and charge me more money for these diagnostic testing. Long story short, just not the normal experience with staff and mechanic knowledge that I have had in ALL the years of going to Best Chevrolet.

While the ultimate service was fine, I am disappointed that the invoice misstated what I said. I said the smell was coming from the seats, and car matts when I opened the car door. I did not state that it was when the car was running and using the vents. The odor was not coming from the vents. I replaced the matts on my own, and I could still smell a bad odor when I opened the door. Service frigi fresh, air filter, and car detail. While the car smells okay now, I am curious what it will smell like in a few days.

The past few times I have been into the service department, my time has been wasted by the advisor seemingly forgetting to retrieve my vehicle from the shop. I am a fairly patient person, but when waiting prolonged periods and questioning the advisor and their reaction being clear that they forgot is getting frustrating. This is becoming a consistent problem when I am visiting the service department. I was also told I needed 4 new tires, when I recently had 2 tires replaced, and when questioned why I am being told I need all 4 tires replaced, an explanation was not able to be provided. I am feeling like the dealership is out for money rather than the better good of the consumer, and this is starting to lead me to want to use a different mechanic.

I came in for one tire pressure sensor replacement and a sticker. I received an oil change that I was charged but never requested and now all of my sensors are not working. There are also two valve stem covers missing which were there before and I was told by the service rep that I would receive a call on Monday and it is now Wednesday with no communication. did get my sticker as requested but overall the service was not the quality I normally receive at Best.

usually very good. today I waited almost an hour beyond the estimated time. was told after an hour that the fuel filter needed to be replaced. onboard reading said 58% remaining . estimate to repair was an additional $250 (for a $25 part) so I deferred then still waited 1/2hr till the car was ready. Last time when filter was at 30% remaining I questioned changing and was told to wait longer.

I brought my car in because the intermittent wipers weren't working correctly. they inspected them and told me there was no issue. I left the dealership and tried the wipers and they still were not working so I went back and showed the service dept and they took the car back to the garage and came back and told me they had to order new switch for wipers. I was disappointed they could not figure out such a simple problem.

I was surprised that an oil change would take 1.5 hours. I made an appointment for a reason with the belief that an oil change should not take that long. The tech knew that I would be remaining on site with my 3 year old child while we waited. After 1.5 hours of waiting, I saw my vehicle parked back out front, apparently finished. The tech never returned to let me know the 1.5 hour oil change was complete. I’m very put off by my experience and will not be returning or recommending Best Chevy for service.

My vehicle history was reviewed and recommended service was explained with a service advisor, who was great! Work was completed promptly and with a smile. My only recommendation is I dropped the truck off in great condition as I just cleaned the interior. Upon service completion when my vehicle was done I noticed mud on the door and floor mat on the drivers side, oil from dirty hands on the steering wheel, seat adjusted forward and the back of the seat manipulated and the radio station changed. I find it to be a common courtesy to return the vehicle in the same condition it was dropped off. A cover should have been placed on the floor mat and on the steering wheel to prevent this mess. Paying premium for service you expect a level of quality when you pick your vehicle up. Unfortunately this did not occur.

I have over 300 in ev charges funds on hold. The dealership never explained that happens. I can’t do that I rent and cannot install a 240volt. I had explained that prior they assured me 120v would suffice. That was a lie. I travel 70 miles a day and I tried plugging in I only got 5 miles my landlord won’t change the outlet. I wanted to return the car they said no how it that their problem and wouldn’t help me If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Best Chevrolet was not only disappointing — it was outright insulting. After purchasing a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV, I quickly found myself in a financial nightmare. When I returned for help or clarification, I was met with rudeness, deflection, and blatant misinformation. They had the audacity to suggest I roll over $14,000 in negative equity into another car — a move that would bury me in debt. When I raised legitimate concerns about the hidden costs of EV charging (like multiple $75–$100 holds every time I charge, which adds up to $400+ weekly), I was told, “How is that my problem?” and “You’re the customer — why didn’t you ask?” As if I’m supposed to know more about EV ownership than the people selling them? Even worse, I was falsely told that you can’t return a car in Massachusetts — which is untrue and manipulative. Instead of support, I got sarcasm and excuses. And when I asked about EV charging logistics, I was brushed off because “they’re not a charging company.” Best Chevrolet has no business selling EVs — or cars, frankly — if this is how they treat paying customers. Save yourself the stress and financial damage. There’s nothing “Best” about Best Chevrolet.

Hi, I went to find out why my a/c wasn't working right i have had the same problem with the a/c, and the. Heater, it seems always something wrong this time was the a/ c, when I dropped it off this time, got into a rental when the guy i spoke with said the rental was on best Chevrolet , no charge, and I got charged for it, then the girl told me, when I called her back, she said there was no charged on the dye in the a/c, she said that the dye was put in my a/c to make sure it doesn't leak, I had my oil change done and a vacuum, that all together should of been $150.00 not $500.00, I was shocked of that amount, I was already late for work, I'm thinking about going to another dealership, I was screwed, if Peter Dodd was there this would of never happened, Donna

I dropped the vehicle off on July 1 and didn't receive it back until July 18. It was a C8 Corvette? The passenger side of the vehicle was making a bottom out noise for a little while. Their tech was able to duplicate the sound immediately, but it took almost 3 weeks for them to figure out what they needed to do. I suggested it was a shock, being under warranty, they suggested to me that they could not replace this unless they saw signs that the shock didn't work. I had to get the manager involved and ultimately they did replace the shock. vehicle is no longer making those noises. I'm not sure why it took 3 full weeks to get rid of this problem.

I had made a 9am appointment for routine service - an oil change. I received a text after dropping the vehicle saying I could text with the advisor. I went next door to Derby Street to do some shopping. At 10:30am I hadn't heard anything and texted the advisor. I received no response. I called at 11:00am, spoke with another advisor who said he would check on the vehicle. He put me on hold, came back 5 minutes later and said he would have to call me back. At 11:30am he called me and said the vehicle would be ready at 12:30pm. This put me in a difficult spot as I had to pick up my children from camp. Long story short I am confident they forgot about my vehicle. I had also asked for it to be washed and when I picked it up, it wasn't washed. All-in-all it was a really bad experience.

This is a rare bird, but being rare is not an excuse for service quality. Vintage corvettes NEED a corvette mechanic. If BEST doesn't have one, or only one that is over worked, the customer would rather hear the truth....so they could move on.

My honest opinion is that the quality of customer care has gone down drastically since Scott Shulman left. When I pulled up, a kid (employee) sat at the door, looking at his phone. He made no movement toward my car. I got out of my car and went inside. Inside, my name was not on the list for service. I was in the system but no one had transferred my name to the daily service list. People inside were polite and fairly capable but the general appearance is at about a C plus when it used to be an A plus. Very disappointing and after giving Best my business for about 25 years, I will most likely go elsewhere to purchase my next car.

This has been a very aggravating situation with my C8 Corvette trying to get it repaired. After being at your dealership four different times, and you having my vehicle for a total of six weeks within those times being on site, we are now hoping that the problem has been repaired. Furthermore, I was told my vehicle would be ready this past Saturday and when I try to pick it up. The entire interior of the roof was not on the vehicle. Not quite sure where the miscommunication came from but the quality control here is not acceptable. Someone should've looked at the vehicle to be sure it was ready to be picked up before I took a 45 minute ride there to find out that I was not able to pick it up. Upon this, I requested that my representative have the car cleaned as I was planning on doing this on the weekend. I wouldn't have time if I had to pick it up in the middle of the week. When I picked my vehicle up on Tuesday, I was told that it was quickly detailed, and it was all set to go. I'm extremely disappointed that the vehicle wasn't even touched as far as cleaning it up. Maybe somebody wiped the top off with a cloth, but the car was not detailed as I was told it would be. I know this is not part of the repairs of the vehicle, but due to the frustration and not being able to take care of my vehicle over the weekend I was told it would be taken care of! So overall, I'm just not really happy with the way this dealership has dealt with this situation. I've used this dealership in the past on a couple of different occasions with the C8 and I've been extremely happy I used to deal with Nina. I guess just constantly being told that nobody has any idea or they can't find the situation or problem or the vehicle is gonna be ready or the problem has been fixed has begun to wear on me.

Richard who was my Sales Rep was excellent. I really like the vehicle. As a dealership you failed me drastically. I have owned my own small company for almost 30 years. Over those years I have had multiple vehicles registered to my company under my PO Box as the address. For reasons not understood, I was told that the dealership could not transfer the registration of my trade in vehicle, to the new vehicle, because the existing address on the registration was a PO Box. The trade in vehicle had been registered under the PO box for 10 years A solution could not be supplied by the dealership to register the vehicle in my companies name, and we had to redo the paperwork in my name, denying me the opportunity to have this be a company vehicle. I must reiterate, Richard my sales rep was excellent.

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 8AM on Saturday. I arrived at 7:45AM and was quickly processed by the service department. I was told that the work would take 1:15 hours. At 9:40AM I asked the desk how much longer it would be. After checking they came back and said that the car would be done shortly. So the time was longer than quoted and the price was higher than I expected. I am a long time customer having purchased 7 vehicles over the years from Best. The service has not been as good as it once was so I am now considering getting any future work done elsewhere except for warranty work.

I called your service department because I needed a new battery on my 2018 Equinox which I bought at Best. I spoke to Katie who was very helpful and said bring it on in. When they got the vehicle into the shop she called me with the estimate (over $600 for a battery) and I almost dropped the phone. She went on to tell me I could by one and bring it in to be installed which I did. Again, her communication was excellent, I dropped off the battery and i was installed in about an hour and I returned to get the vehicle. I paid the invoice, grabbed the invoice and was about 10 miles away when I noticed the check engine light illuminated which I know comes on when a battery is changed and your technician shoud have cleared. I now have to take the vehicle in to have this done.

Second time coming here for and oil change and recalls. Both times I’ve been there for 2.5hrs for this same service. I’m not sure what the point of making an appointment for a certain time and entering what I need done for general maintenance in the appointment when you walk in your told it will be about an hour and then you are there for 2.5-3hrs

I called to get an appointment for an oil change and was told if I could get there in thirty minutes, they would do the oil change then. I got there in plenty of time. Nina, service manager, talked to me about maintenance that was ready to be scheduled because of certain mileage markers. We'll schedule appointments and take care of all of them. I feel that when I go in for service Nina is always looking out for me. That and she listens to my thoughts on my car's maintenance. It's always a pleasure to see her whenever I'm at Best.
